What do you think? Agree, disagree?What do you think? Agree, disagree? I think that mega churches have become a place for many sick souls and hurting hearts to go run and hide. Some find recovery while others never deal with the issues of Life God was dealing with them when they fleed from the smaller churches. As a pastor of a smaller church who knows of many people from other smaller congregations I have seen how so many leave where they were needed for the freedom, programs and benefits for themselves only to not engage in ministry but just be ministered too. I wonder if the Mega church has not played into the whole entertainment age. As much as I enjoy good entertainment and all the best of music, tech and more I can see where the old fashion basics of smaller churches foster deeper growth and development. When it all boils down to the bottom line we need a great awakening and revival in America regardless of the size of the ministry.
