Live From New York, Its Governor Palin
GovernorPalin on Saturday Night Live…
SarahPalin showed up on Saturday Night Live, good-naturedly critiquing Tina Fey'simpression of her in a mock press conference. As Fey told fake reporters that"the American people are angry, and John McCain is angry too," thecamera cut to Palin, who was dressed identically to Fey in a red suit, and SNLexecutive producer Lorne Michaels. Both were standing in a hallway outside theshow's New York studio, away from the audience. "I didn't think it was arealistic depiction of the way my press conferences would have gone," shetold Michaels. (She hasn't held any). "Why couldn't we have done the 30 Rocksketch I wrote?" she asked, referring to Fey's low-rated NBC sitcom, whichMichaels also produces. "Honestly, not enough people know that show,"he replied. –USA Today
